Margin Leak accesses Shopify store data necessary to analyze product profitability, including order information, product information, inventory information, discounts, and product cost data.

Margin Leak does not require merchants to provide separate customer account credentials and does not sell personal information.

How information is used

Store data is used to calculate and display profitability, gross margin, discount impact, and potential margin leaks for the merchant.

Data retention

Margin Leak retrieves Shopify data as needed to provide its functionality. The app does not intentionally maintain a separate historical database of customer order information beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

Data sharing

Margin Leak does not sell merchant or customer data. Data may be processed by service providers used to host and operate the application.

Data deletion

Margin Leak supports Shopify's required data privacy requests, including customer data requests, customer redaction requests, and shop redaction requests.

Security

Margin Leak uses Shopify's authentication mechanisms and authenticated API access to communicate with Shopify.
